The Ministry of Health has canceled the state registration of 43 drugs and one pharmaceutical substance. The majority of these (31 products) are manufactured by Sandoz. Additionally, the use of two drugs was suspended, according to the GRLS data. Among those withdrawn are ACC granules for syrup preparation (INN: acetylcysteine), Lozarel (losartan), and Ortanol (omeprazole) – all produced by Sandoz. The license for Hyalgan Fidia (hyaluronic acid) by Fidia Farmaceutici and the anticonvulsant Primidone (primidone) by Akrikhin, used for epilepsy, were also revoked. The registrations were annulled on March 12. Furthermore, as of March 10, the Ministry suspended the use of Oxymetazoline and Xylometazoline by VIPS-Med due to non-compliance with good manufacturing practices and/or licensing violations, as indicated in orders published on the GRLS website.
