The «Special Parent's School» was held in Tyumen and Yekaterinburg with the support of MEDIPAL

In May and June, meetings were held within the Special Parent School project, which is supported by the MEDIPAL, organized by the «Podarok Angelu» charitable Foundation.

From May 25 to 28, group and individual occupational therapy classes were held in Yekaterinburg as part of the «Special Parent’s School» project.

Occupational therapy, being an effective method of treatment and rehabilitation, is aimed at improving the physical and mental condition of people with limited mobility.

Alina Bozhechkova, a specialist in occupational therapy and correctional work at the «Podarok Angelu» Foundation, conducted a variety of classes and activities that help develop the necessary skills for everyday life, improve well-being and learn how to cope with various life situations. During the lessons, parents and specialists gained the knowledge and skills necessary for high-quality self-help at home.

On June 8, parents and specialists held a psychology seminar in Tyumen. During the lessons, the basics of effective rehabilitation work with children with disabilities were studied. The purpose of psychological support for a child with disabilities is to create psychological and pedagogical conditions conducive to successful adaptation, rehabilitation and personal growth of the child in society.

On June 9, individual psychological consultations were held, where the psychologist talked with the children, and also answered the parents' questions.

MEDIPAL regularly cooperates with the Charity Foundation «Podarok Angelu», in particular, it has been providing financial assistance to the project "School of a special parent" for four years now.
