Getting ready for the Day of Knowledge: how the holiday went at the Research Institute of Emergency Children's Surgery and Traumatology, organized by MEDIPAL

On August 22, 2024, the MEDIPAL Group of Companies organized a bright holiday at the Research Institute of Emergency Children's Surgery and Traumatology with the support of the Children's Doctor Roshal Foundation.

For the first time, the idea of organizing a performance for the hospital's wards came to us last year. Then the holiday was timed to coincide with Children's Day. This year's theme was the approaching Day of Knowledge.

The first part was held in an interactive format, which was conducted by a team of corporate volunteers. Small but very active patients did facial exercises together, participated in a fight with inflatable balls and vied with each other to guess what was hidden in the "black box". Inflatable bears helped the children, inside of which were the most persistent colleagues. The white bears delighted the children with fiery dances and gave everyone warm hugs.

At the end of the interactive part, no one was left without a gift. The children received talismans made by the Group of Companies employees, which will lift their spirits and motivate them for a speedy recovery and a successful school year. In addition, transfer pictures were prepared for the children, which everyone could choose for themselves. The children enthusiastically pasted them on their own pictures and took some in reserve for their friends, moms and dads. In the end, even some adults could not resist and, slightly embarrassed, asked to make themselves brighter.

After the rich interactive part, a new, educational surprise awaited the children. The charming Arina, the host of the "Professor Nicolas Show", immersed the audience in the fascinating world of practical chemistry and physics.

There were various experiments with dry ice and water, visual experiments. At the same time, Arina told in a very clear and simple language about what is happening with this or that substance at the moment. The main highlight for the children was the opportunity to become co-hosts for a while and take direct part in the show. After the "lesson" the happy and satisfied children returned to their rooms, just in time for lunch. They took with them gifts, stickers, balloons and of course bright memories that (we hope) will fill them with optimism for the entire upcoming school year.
