Corporate and social volunteering is highly appreciated in the company, and many employees are engaged in charitable and volunteer activities. Therefore, it was decided to support and multiply the initiatives of colleagues. As part of the competition, employees were invited to share their personal stories related to charity.
Colleagues were happy to support the initiative and told their good stories on the internal corporate portal. For example, among the employees there are volunteers in animal shelters, many help street cats and dogs find a new home, provide targeted assistance, support foundations and even take part in charity races.
According to the results of the competition, the expert council selected three winners. They were Marina Rodygina, a specialist in the procurement department, Veronika Morozova, Head of the Corporate Marketing Department, and Anna Kuznetsova, a Client Manager.
Marina Rodygina has been helping an elderly single woman with friends for many years. She and her friends spend time with Vera Alekseevna: they come to visit her at home or at the cottage, if possible, provide assistance in caring for pets, bring food, help to understand modern gadgets and even gave her a mobile phone. Marina emphasizes that each of their meetings is a special event and a real celebration.

Veronika Morozova shared the story of her participation in the charity corporate run "It's time to Live", the proceeds from which are aimed at supporting adults with oncological diseases of the blood system. However, Veronica's charitable activities in her life are not limited to this event. She is a member of the bone marrow donor register, buys food, medicines and necessary things for lonely pensioners, is a volunteer at the Yuna center for temporarily homeless animals, systematically rescues and shelters homeless animals. "If you help at least one person: someone who is nearby, someone who is sick / cold/ hungry right now, then the world will be a little different, but it will become different," Veronika is convinced.

Anna Kuznetsova and her family have been helping the municipal shelter for homeless animals for more than 15 years. Throughout these years, they have been regularly visiting their wards. At first, Anna's parents did the main work, but in recent years she has taken over the main front of the work. Anna's main task as a volunteer is the socialization of animals. She walks with her charges, communicates and monitors the condition. Anna also accompanies her animals to exhibitions where dogs and cats from shelters can find their owners and find a home. Now there are 12 dogs under Anna's care. "Volunteering requires patience and dedication, but seeing the happy faces of the pets that we were able to socialize and prepare for moving to a new home is the biggest reward." – says Anna.
